Fifth Column general clan rules:

1. No player is more important than the Fifth Column
2. Members Must treat each other with respect
3. Do not cheat, spam, take advantage of bugs
4. Be Loyal to the team
5. Regular participation is required
6. Teamwork is required
7. Communication is required
8. Maintain good sportsmanship

1. No player is more important than the Fifth Column

Including generals, this means that players can not go off on score gaining binges to improve their score at the expense of the clan. Teamwork is required and ultimately rewarded with victories. This also means that, apart from your personal views there should be no bashing of sponsors or the team itself. If there's a problem with the Fifth Column, do not take it upon yourself to spread heresay or harass, take it up with the generals. Maintain the Fifth Column name/reputation in every way possible.

2. Members must treat others and each other with respect.

There will be NO flaming, personal attacks or trash talking between team members. We should all know each other's limitations. There should also be no trash talking to other clans before or after a match, fifth column must maintain a certain degree of dignity (in our sponsors best interests). If this principle is held strong, many others will invariably look up to us.

3. Do not cheat, spam, or take advantage of bugs

Cheating in any form or fashion can result in a general meeting and possible suspension or ban from the Fifth Column. This can get the whole clan banned from ladders and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If you are seen cheating, you will be asked to remove your clan tag and leave the server. Spamming is annoying, and makes it hard for other members to give you equal respect.

4. Be loyal to the team

This means that a member can only be in Fifth Column clan, for any game at any time. Members must wear the 5][ tag at all times during games.

5. Regular participation is required

The team has to stay abreast of all developments in gameplay, which means that members will be requested to attend practice (at Headquarters or otherwise) regularly to maintain Fifth Column membership.

6. Teamwork is required

If teamwork is not planned, and carried out in-game, we will not win. You must be a team player and hold true to rule 1.

7. Communication is required

It is absolutely neccessary that members have AIM, teamspeak, and a headset with mic (behind the neck style for uniformity, no particular brand) and use them along with the forums to keep in contact with other Fifth Column members.

8. Maintain good sportsmanship

Whether we win or lose, don't "rub it in" or "trash talk". While in-game, don't spray dead bodies, excessively shoot, or "hump" enemies when playing other teams, this is a Ladder rule and is very important to the team's maintaining a good reputation.
